Add, Edit & Delete Traffic Signal Lookups

Agencies can have thousands of assets, and recording all the information related to them can be an immense undertaking. Roadsoft makes data entry quicker by providing editable lookups and defaults. Defaults can automatically input common information into assets, making data entry quicker and less monotonous. Lookups are the customizable values in most drop-down lists within Roadsoft. Fields that use lookups generally do not accept typed answers, so the way to add, edit, or delete options in these drop-down lists is to change the lookup values. Lookups are usually also accessible from a link located near the field in the module.

The Traffic Signal Asset list works similarly to lookups and manages the various assets and devices associated with traffic signals. Instructions on managing the Traffic Signal Asset list are included in this document as well. For instructions on adding an existing traffic signal asset to a traffic signal location, see Add, Edit & Delete Traffic Signals.
