Import Sign Imagery

Images can be imported into Roadsoft to use with signs in the Sign Library. Upload images from folders on a computer, or download them from Roadsoft’s website. When uploading images from a computer folder, files will only appear in the Sign Importer if their name is a Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) code.

Import Imagery by Download

Select the Asset Management option from the Main Menu Options.

Select the Sign Management option.

Select the Import Sign Imagery… option.

Add Imagery for User-Defined Signs

Select the Asset Management option from the Main Menu Options.

Select the Sign Management option.

Select the Sign Library… option.

Select User-Defined from the Sign Type menu

Either scroll through the list or type in the Search Field to search by MUTCD or Description.

Select the sign

Select the Load Image button

Select the sign image file.

Select the Open button.

Delete a Sign Image

Select the Asset Management option from the Main Menu Options.

Select the Sign Management option.

Select the Sign Library option.

Select a sign from the list.

Select the Sign Type drop-down menu to search by sign type.

Only User Defined signs can have their images deleted.

Either scroll through the list or type in the Search Field to search by MUTCD or Description.

Select the Clear Image button.

Select the Yes button to clear the image or select the No button to close the Clear Image? window.

Select the Save button to save the changes.
