Add & Edit Curb & Gutter Information

Roadsoft contains an option for identifying and including roadway curb and gutter details such as age, material, configuration, and condition.

Add & Edit Curb & Gutter Information

Curb and gutter fields are set to default values until edited. There is no delete feature, simply change the defaults or any existing data to update this information.

With the road layer visible and active:

Select the desired road segment(s) from the map.

Select the View Module button.

Select the Curb/Gutter tab.

Manage the amount of tabs onscreen by “pinning” and “unpinning” them. For help pining windows, see Pin & Unpin Windows. The Road module only edits one road segment at a time. To edit multiple road segments simultaneously, see Use the Multi-edit Tool.

Select the Plus button under the Left Curb and Gutter section or select the Copy Right Values to Right… link to copy data entered in the Left Curb and Gutter section to the Right Curb and Gutter section.

Select the minus button under the Left Curb and Gutter section to hide fields.

Select fields to edit.

Some fields are editable lookups (drop-down lists). See Add, Edit & Delete Road Lookups for additional information.

Type – Use the Drop-down list to select the curb material type.

Curb Reveal – Use the Drop-down list to indicate the height of the curb face overlooking the road.

Configuration – Use the Drop-down list to select the model of curb configuration used.

Year Built – Select the field to input the year curb construction was completed.

Rating – Use the Drop-down list to select a rating for the curb.

Rating Year – Select the field to input the year the curb rating took place.

Select the Plus button under the Right Curb and Gutter section or select the Copy Left Values to Right… link to copy data entered in the Left Curb and Gutter section to the Right Curb and Gutter section.

Select the minus button under the Right Curb and Gutter section to hide fields.
