Delete Road Segments

Using the Delete Segment Tool

Only road segments that end in at least one user-defined split can be deleted. Deleted segments will append themselves to the adjacent segment with the lower milepoint designation. Any data contained in a deleted segment will be deleted with the segment.

Make the Road layer visible and active.

Using the Selection tool, select the road segment that you want to delete.

Select the View Module button to open the Road Module.

Select the Split/Adjust button at the top of the Mini-Map panel. Select Delete Current Segment from the list. Roadsoft will ask “Delete this segment?”

Select Yes.
