Manage Filters

The Roadsoft Manage Filters feature includes multi-deletion of saved filters, addition of multiple saved filters to a group, and sharing multiple saved filters.

Use the Ctrl or Shift keys to make multiple selections.

Multi-Add Saved Filters to a Group

With the desired layer active:

Right click on the map and select Manage Filters…

Select one or more saved filters.

Select the Edit button.

Enter a group name in the Group field.

Select the Apply button.

Multi-Delete Saved Filters

The Admin user profile can delete all saved filters. All other user profiles can only delete the filters they have created.

With the desired layer active:

Right click on the map and select Manage Filters…

Select one or more saved filters.

Select the Delete button.

Select the Yes button to confirm delete.

Multi-Share Saved Filters

With the desired layer active:

Right click on the map and select Manage Filters…

Select one or more saved filters.

Select the Edit button.

Select Shared, Not Shared, or No Change from the drop-down.

Shared shares the saved filter with all database users.

Not Shared only displays the saved filter to the filter creator.

No Change only applicable when saved filters are selected from multiple groups. Select No Change to keep the existing share assignments.

Select the Apply button.
