Add, Edit & Delete Culverts

The Culvert module is where Roadsoft stores information on the condition and location of culverts. This information is useful for planning maintenance and work on culverts, and provides agencies with a quick way to check the capacity of their culverts to ensure they can handle an expected or unexpected weather event. The Laptop Data Collector (LDC) is ideal for collecting culverts, to use the LDC for culvert data collection, see Add, Edit & Delete Culverts in the LDC.

The Culvert module also has tabs for recording additional information on culvert ratings, maintenance, and work orders. For instructions on how to use the inspection and maintenance tabs, see Add Culvert Inspection and Maintenance. For instructions on how to use the Scheduled Maintenance/Inspection Activity portion of the Culvert Module, see Add & Edit Scheduled Maintenance-Inspection Activity. For instructions on how to create work orders, see Add New Work Order. There are also documents in the Roadsoft manual related to applying, editing, and closing work orders.

Some fields in the Culvert Module use lookups. Lookups are the customizable selections found in most drop-down lists within Roadsoft. For help using culvert lookups, see Add, Edit & Delete Culvert Lookups.
