Backup Database - LDC
Backup Overview
Like in Roadsoft, there are points in which a backup of the LDC data is recommended. The LDC does not create the same .BAK file (SQL Server database backup) that Roadsoft does during backup. The LDC creates a backup file (.LDCZ file extension) that can be imported back into the LDC if the current connected import becomes corrupt or otherwise non-functional. A suggested backup point is anytime the collection is started, but not completed, and not ready to export.
